Disarmed by fingers
I suppose I should be getting used to these bandages by now. They're not so bad. At least I can type. I did go through quite a funny stage from ankle socks (no pic, sorry) to the full latex gloves then just the latex fingers and finally bandages.
Again I'm witness to the interesting side effects of chemo treatment. Soon all this will be behind me though. Very soon actually. I've got three or four treatment sessions left. It seems so strange to write that down. I've not really given much thought to not having to go to the hospital. It has been so "normal." I suppose I'll learn a new normal again.
The after is on my mind a lot these days. What I'm gong to do - what I'll be able to do. I'm still taking things a day at a time but the fog is lifting and I can begin to see far into the distance again.
Again... I've written that word *looks up and counts* three, no wait four times now. For someone who dislikes repetition I seem to be my own worse enemy.
