I love my grandparents!
Froggy and I came back from shopping yesterday and as always Froggy checked the postbox on our way in the foyer. Once in the house he handed me "my post" (anything addressed to me or fun to look at) while he placed "his post" (anything addressed to him or boring: bills, banks, etc) on the desk in the office.
I proceeded to open my envelope, the handwriting upon which I recognised straight away. I was so touched by the contents I thought I would share them with the world.
The card offered best wishes for a speedy recovery and a message hoping I'd like the two Daily Mail snippets included. They couldn't have realised that they had actually sent three snippets since one of the obvious selected snippets had a recipe on the back that made me smile having recently burnt a batch.
The chosen snippets put such a smile on my face and in my heart that I'm posting them in the buff - not even under a cut! I hope you enjoy them as I have:
