Moving right along
Stitches came out this afternoon - always a stressful moment, symbolically closing the overall operation. With Froggy on holiday since Thursday we've been able to simply relax and enjoy some well-needed peace at home.
We've cleaned up the balcony. It's nice to see all the new flowers shaking open their petals. We've had so much rain this summer that a day like today, blue skies, warm sunshine and blustery breezes tickling the wind chimes, is as welcoming as a hot cup of tea.
A few days before the operation, Froggy and I discovered a wonderful tea shop, La Route du Thé. We'll be trying out their fleurs de feu, "flowers of fire", in a bit alongside a slab of homemade chocolate chip cookie cake. It must be smelling quite tempting as Froggy keeps getting up to check on the cookie's cooking progress. *licks lips in anticipation*
If the tea is as delightful as it promises, I'm sure it will travel well. *winks to swappers*
