Home tomorrow
Boe's coming out of hospital tomorrow. Her nurse will come by twice a day to redo the bandages until the wounds are properly healed. The surgeon prescribed iron and advised Boe to try and regain the 8 pounds she's lost.
She's thrilled to be coming back. She does not feel hungry yet but at least she'll be able to ask for food she likes instead of the "hospital slime".
The surgeon came by tonight and confirmed that we would have to wait another 10 days or so before getting all the results. Boe will have a post-op appointment in two months' time and another one to schedule the next operation in about 4 months.
