today i found out that little miss sunshine is a "select release", which means it won't be in grand rapids until august 18. if i wanted to see it today, i would have to fly to new york or LA. that really sucks. i bet they're going to do the same thing with the science of sleep. are we honestly less deserving of seeing good movies just because we don't live in one of the entertainment capitals of the world? instead we have to watch whatever unintelligent garbage hollywood regurgitates into our laps?
