alright, so i figured out the secret to getting comments in your journal is just whining about yourself ha.
the show was awesome. conor and i met up with hassan, jerome, ben, christine, and 'cake'
-'the academy is' my new favorite band. i'm jealous of the singer's voice. i honestly think he is gay though, and he touched my arm. whatever dog, he can touch my arm all he wants. i can't wait for the full length to come out.
-'hidden in plain view' was pretty good. if i hadn't of known what the songs really sound like, i don't think i would have liked them that much.
-'midtown' did an amazing job. they're pretty cool guys. they let these 4 girls get in for free because they've seen them at their concerts before and it was one girls birthday. they played with a lot of energy and got the crowd into it. with only two songs left, the stage power was turned off, so they ran and got an acoustic guitar and played 'knew it all along'.
-i only saw 3 songs by 'matchbook romance', but they were also playing very well.
-so many people were literally dying while trying to crowd surf. a lot fell on their heads. i don't really see why that's so much fun. one girl's top was almost pulled off too.
watching these bands makes me miss music. i want to start playing again. i'm about 90% sure that ben and i are doing an acoustic set at first night this year so everybody should go check us out.
