Here I go, I'm trying to catch you guys up on the past couple weeks!
So things are going differently now'a'days.
here are the highlights of the past couple weeks:
-had my first race at the UC Irvine invitational and right now I'm really happy with that race and all of the latest and craftiest workouts I've been having. I'm happy with where I am right now as a runner. My new approach to running is running happy and running negative splits (running faster at the end of a run than you were running at the beginning of it). I'm just sooooooooo so so so soooooooo so so so happy to be running right now. It's such a privilege with the great teammates that i have. There are especially a couple a' guys on my team who are really encouraging me to run to my full potential.
i will give them a moment of thanks in this update. Ricky Barnes, you are definitely one of the biggest heroes in my life right now. The other one is Dave Santos. These guys are just so thrilled about where our team is going and its always rubbing off on me. They always the first to bring light to every one elses personal victories and I think thats so kind hearted to see in anyone. They are so concerned with each of their teammates goals and aspirations. Thank you guys.
-then there's my job.
-on a more positive notemy major is finally starting to take shape and I'm beginning to see more and more possibilties for my future in business. They have decided to create a business major at UCI (finally). however it will not be instituted until the year 2009. as some of you know the year I'm set to graduate should be 2004. I don't know what all that means but at least it's out on the table now.
-The Internet & Technology. yes, I still love technology...always and forever. So i got into computers this summer and it's really exciting cause now i'm just trying to soak up everything that i can. SOOOOOOO i arrive at UCI and move into my dorm only to find that our dorm is the technology dorm out of all the 31 dorms I coulda got put into. I'm givin' up so much props to God for that one right now that he could put on a Broadway Musical! Sweet! and my RA is like exactly the kind of RA i was hoping for.
-Harry Potter...is...the Shit! Book one...soon to be done. Next to pursue...book number two.
-Anna May Wilson, in my college. I point and laugh pitifully at all other colleges because my college has an anna may wilson and you're college doesn't. ha...ha ha ha. a-ha. Oh glorious is the day that I will soon greet, when I may walk anna may wilson to class and know that all in this beautiful world is right.
-I am goning to see a musical tomorrow night and my best friend is going to be there. I am happy beyond belief. I am jumping up and down with excitement and I don't know how much longer I can wait. Yey Nums, yey!!!
-and, lest I should forget, only to be trodden down and left for dead, I have a kick-ass little sister who can do anything she sets her heart to.
