Bird-talk. ♥
I still haven't ordered 47, because I'm (still) not sure which version I want to get. And I'd like to get the K8 photobook, but I have no idea where to order it. Remind me to prowl the comms/forums for info on that in the weekend?
So anyway, Page and Box are in their first moulting stage; which is where their old feathers are being shed and replaced by new ones.
I got home, and when I was sitting at the table near them, Page was cleaning his wings - and one of the longer feathers was loose. And what does he do?
Instead of just dropping it (as they've done with the first two wing-feathers they've shed so far), he hops to the little ladder, and drops the feather outside of the cage. I'd think he was keeping the cage clean... if it wasn't for the fact that it is impossible to see it has been cleaned only an hour or two after I've done so. XD
Still, they're absolutely adorable. Crazy and damn messy, but cute. ♥
Later this evening, Page was sitting on the swing, and Box was sitting beneath him. And then she grabs his tail in her foot and nibbles on it. Page was protesting loudly, obviously. *amused!*
...I just noticed how long it's been since I logged in to MSN, or actually properly read my flist - not since I got back from Paris, I think. :O
And not just that, but I have barely turned on my computer in that time either. I've been making some things for that one meme, and reading. (Currently, I'm reading The Pillars of the Earth. :D)
