Been two weeks...

So, its been two weeks since my last update. I deal. Anyway, accepted the job with GES. I got an offer from both them and Roux. Roux offered more money, but GES is half the distance away and, I expect, do work that I am more interested in. So, right now I feel like I made the right decision. I feel pretty good about it, actually.

The counter offer they made to their first offer was a slight increase, but they moved up by first reviewal date by six months. So, now I get a performance review that effects my wages after three months instead of after nine.

Chris Lent today told me that I have an excellent memory, and that that is a great skill. I don't know where that came from, but I thanked him, as it was a very nice thing to say. The funny part it, I feel like my memory has been getting progressively worse of late, like I have been having trouble remembering things. I just thought that was a weird transaction.

I have spent the last three Monday nights crashing over Stephen's apartment with Kate after gaming. On each of the Tuesday mornings following, him and I have sat around for about an hour chatting before we went to our respective works. We started talking about the job this morning, and how it will be a major p.i.t.a. to keep getting myself to his place for Monday nights (his thinking more than mine...I have this horrible tendency to believe that I can run anywhere and forget about the time it takes in between). He says that this just gives more credence to his wanting to move gaming to Sunday afternoons, starting at noon.

I like this idea. Talking very selfishly for a second, it would make my life easier, being able to avoid the rush into the city after work on Mondays and into work on Tuesdays. He doesn't go to many camping events, so he is home more likely than not on Sundays. If Kate and I keep to the day tripping events for a while, that means that we should be able to go to events on Saturday and hit Stephen's on Sunday. I would still be able to go to Church, then hop the train and get into the city. At least, I envision it working. Of course, that is just more convenient for me. It adds a lot that Stephen also wants to do this, as it is his house, but he has been wanting to do it for a while and it hasn't worked, so we shall see. There are a lot of other people who regularly go to his place that have to be ok with it as well. We shall see, but I can still hope that it works out, 'cause right now I see it as being very convenient for me. Selfish, but true.

And, this update is very disjointed. I apologize for that.
