crimson, and clover

saturday was a wicked good day. and i mean wicked. i had to take care of something first thing in the morning, then i called sam and andrew and the three of us went into boston. andrew and i met sam at cvs, where i bought a roll of black and white film so i could take pictures of our adventurous day in town. we started off in cambridge, where we got pizza at crazy dough's. then we started walking towards the river, and we hit up a wendy's on the way where we each got a cheeseburger from the dollar menu. i heart wendy's dollar menus. i took a ton of pictures on the bridge crossing over the charles, but i doubt they were any good. oh well, it was more of a roll to have fun with than actually take good pictures with. after fighting the terribly cold wind coming off the water, we made it to the boston common, where it was pumpkin central time!!! my god was it chaos. there were pumpkins freakin everywhere. e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. okay, maybe not everywhere, but there sure were a helluva lot of pumpkins. we went to downtown crossing, sam left, and andrew and i walked around for a while, bought some arizona iced teas, and headed back home. we went back to andrew's house so he could get his camera, and we went on a picture taking adventure. we walked the tracks, took some pictures of the old car, went to my house to see if i could sleep over, and then went back to his house. we hung around for a while after that and we couldn't think of anything to do, so we decided to go to sterns and hill and get some apple pie with ice cream. turns out they only have apple crisp, which just so happens to be better than apple pie. so that was $12 for two of them, and they didn't even give us forks, those bastards. so we ran down the street to petrones, got some forks, ran to tha park down the street and ate our apple pie in glee. i got to the point where i felt like i was going to throw up if i ate another bite, so i didn't even finish mine. however, the walk from the park to turner's seemed to open up a little tiny space in my stomach just big enough to fit a cup of the bestgoddamnclamchowderintheworld. so i ate that, and then we went on an expedition to find something exciting to do. that failed, and we ended up spending even more money on ibc root beer and black cherry which was 2 for $5 at shaw's. so we walked around melrose with 12 bottles of soda until we felt sick, then we dumped some out and brought the remaining four back to andrew's house. we got back in time to see the last couple innings of the sox game, and then we went to bed. together. just kidding.
so we woke up this morning, and i didn't torture andrew by jumping on him, poking him, hitting him with pillows, and shining bright lights in his eyes, and by i didn't i mean of course i did. we got up, ate some ceral, 3 1/2 bowls for me, then started the history homework and started to watch the made-for-tv-version of the shining. halfway through the history we decided to take a break and eat more food, and since andrew is cullinarily challenged, i cooked us two omlettes with cheese. then andrew put 7 waffles in the toaster and we ate those along with the omlettes. to drink we had the leftover soda from the night before. then we went to finish our homework and finish watching the movie. we didn't exactly finish our homework, but we did a damn good job of watching the movie until 3:00. then i went home, which ended the 27 hour andrew/bobby marathon. it was a grand time.
