floor parties rock my world

so yesterday i went out shopping by myself. you heard me. i had to get golf shoes because mine stopped being waterproof and the spikes wore down to negative spikes. i also wanted to get corkboard for my wall in my room. so i went out on a route one expedition. my first stop was michael's because i was curious to see what they had for corkboard. i felt so unbelievably out of place and uncomfortable for the entire 30 seconds i was in there. then i went to bobs, where i couldn't find any golf shoes whatsoever. then i went to staples and bought myself some coarkboard, tacks, and pens. then i went to the mall, where you can find every type of shoe you ever dreamed of. except golf shoes. so i left there, then drove up route one to the wendy's turn-around, looking for any type of store that might have golf shoes. nnnnothin.
so i got home, ate dinner, then went to dave's for the copying carnival. after that i went to andrew's house, and andrew, alex and i had a floor party!! until juliana and kristen got there. i can't remember what we did after that, i'm sure it was a whole lotta nothing, but i do remember it being a whole lotta fun. and just for the record, i have not once thought about shaving my legs.

today i went to alex's house with tony to finish our summer reading notes. i ate a bowl of awesome pasta with chicken and vegetables when i got there, followed by 7 of the best cupcakes in the world. then we went upstairs and actually did work! when we were finished i crawled around in the above the stairs crawlspace, then i got my hand locked into a pair of handcuffs for like 15 minutes while alex tried to figure out how to pick the lock with a bobby pin. then alex made me a new bracelet!!!!!! :-D it's a little tight, and it smells really bad, but all it needs is some wear and tear to take care of that.

yes, i know, i have been avoiding that one little thing that's really not so little. it's kind of like a mosquito buzzing around your head. you know it's there even though you're trying sooo hard to ignore it, but you know it's not going away for another 10 months. okay, that's where i lose the analogie, but you know what i mean.

chances are i'll see you tomorrow. until then, keep it real.

bobby.
