I haven't written in here for awhile. It's certainly not for lack of stuff to write about. Indeed, there's plenty. I guess I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed (Why can't I ever just feel pleasantly whelmed?).
There's stuff going on with the whole family. Chris just got a job at
Stainless Steel Studios in Cambridge as a multi-player game tester. Something right up his alley; I have a feeling this'll be really great for him. He'll be living with us for awhile.
Becky is in Buenos Aires, Argentina, getting certified to
teach English as a foreign language. She's taking a month-long course, and hopefully will be able to find a teaching job there as soon as the course ends. Quite an exciting time for her.
Alie quite busy with classes at
Northeastern and with her boyfriend, Mike. I don't have much of a chance to talk with her (I feel like ships passing in the night sometimes), but I'm also interested in seeing how she charts her own unique course in life.
Sarah's also interested in Northeastern - it's her top choice of colleges. She's been busy getting the college apps in, and I've been busy with some related financial stuff. This coming week she's going on a trip with her friends to Florida, and is quite excited about that.
Gail's been busy with all kinds of stuff - recorder music (of course!),
job stuff, and of course, what's going on with all the kids. This coming weekend we're going to the
AMC Music and Mountains weekend up at Pinkham Notch. I'm looking forward to it.
The
Chameleons had the usual
WinterRest gig a little while ago, though it'll probably be the last time we'll do that gig, sadly. Meanwhile, we're recording some songs at Eliot's.
So I have more to say about what's up with me, but that'll have to wait for now...
