Something to think about.
Is it poor customer service to not want to work for free?
if i am not on the clock and not being paid why should i help someone at work?
sounds pretty reasonable, akin to getting to work and sitting outside for 30min before punching in.

If you are wanted to only work 40 hours a week without pre-approved OT, why should you work an extra 2-3 hours a week for free just because traffic was in your favor?
Then essentially insult your employees by getting mad when they question this logic.
oh you don't get paid for the few extra hours you work a week because you are on salary making more then double what i make. yes that will make me feel soo sorry for you. you come in extra early to avoid traffic. i sure wish i could do that.

i get the feeling the new boss essential stopped listening when we tried to explain how our schedules change week to week because we support 2 client bases not just 1. as if we are trying to scam 10-30 extra hours a week or something.
Just because one person was having issues coming in on time doesn't mean you should freak out that a question was asked in a meeting.

the hours thing is going to be annoying for awhile. but at least i wont have rage when i get to work in the morning. i was in the mood to choke a bitch for awhile there today.

i'm just going to stick with this shit. at least until i find out that i've been lied to about getting out of my current job and into something that wont make me want to punch babies and kick kittens as much. The epic /g/ thread today really did show that IT is a pretty shitty line of work till you can get out of the bottom tiers. you'll still have to deal with dumb people but at least you wont have to answer a phone. or plug in a network cable for them. you'll just have to figure out how to move mountains.

and ninja gaiden isn't that good of a game. i need to remember to un queue devil may cry as well.

possibly going to the beach on friday, woo. i guess.

i dont feel like writing any more at this point. so unfinished post!
