goodbye
This morning I said goodbye to Elspeth and Abbie. They've both left for camp by now (Elspeth to canoe camp and Abbie to Iduhapi). It's really sad and scary to think that that's the last time I'll see them for half a year. And if I'm this sad now, how am I going to feel when I leave this whole city and everyone I've ever met up to now? On Thursday I'll leave my life behind for half a year, and six months is a long time.
On the other hand, I got to see Wicked last night! It was really incredible. So much thought and planning and effort obviously went into it, and it was so close to being a perfect show! And then there was the ending. Cheesy and giving the impression of being thrown together quickly. But the rest of the show was so incredibly awesome that I feel really, really lucky to have seen it. Bringing binoculars helped a lot, and I would recommend it to anyone seeing a show from the back half of the balcony section.
Now, as is the continuing saga of my life (well, this summer anyway), I get to do Health work. Only ONE assignment left! Yay!
