They’re only buildings and houses. Why should I care?

So in about 10 days i'm off to Tokyo for a week. Work-related, so I'll having some spare time after hours. Plus a Sunday at the start and a Sat at the end.

So... suggestions? I'm staying in Shimbashi, if that means anything to anyone. I'll not be up for clubbing, but more touristy things I can do nearby or reasonably easily reachable by subway.
