Dress
Mum got me a dress while she was on holiday last week, from H&M, and while I love it, I think the top half is an odd cut...

The fit of the dress
This is what it looks like on it's own, which we've both agreed looks awful cause the cut shows all my bra and stuff.
It's even worse when I'm sat down, like I am now.
Mum suggested a strap-top underneath, which I don't think looks nice, cause you see it all at the sides.
What about a scoopneck t-shirt or something, would that look better? [Which I don't have to try on] Or do either of those look ok?
Mum said she could put some lace along the top to hide it a bit. I'm not sure about that.
So, what do you think?
I've got the reciept so I could change it, but I'd rather not, cause it feels really nice on!
