The Unicorn And The Wasp

May 18, 2008 20:09

My slightly over excited fangirly review of The Wasp And The Unicorn. Also, how much better is that title than EVERY OTHER ONE this series so far - it didn't tell us any vital plot lines *coughDoctor'sDaughtercough* - and it's just cool!

A lot of lines from the episode. Also a lot of capslock. Sorry about that - I get overexcited easily. SPOILERS and a few rude words *shocking* )

review, dr who, spoilers

>>>How is it connected to Agatha? I doooon't understand this bit.

We were told earlier that the murderer had absorbed all her murder plots, and was repeating them, although I don't think that it was explained how or why it had done that. In any event, surely a falling gargoyle/vase was Allingham rather than Christie?

Buuuut, that doesn't really expain why it's connected to her though, just to her stories!
But in all honesty, I don't expect it all to make sense, this is a Dr Who ep after all, :D

Wiki says:

>>Her son is actually the Reverend Golightly (Tom Goodman-Hill), who had come to associate Agatha Christie's novels with the way the world must work because Lady Eddison had been reading one when his alien biology was awakened in a moment of anger

This presumably happened through the Firestone she was wearing - when he interrupted the burglars in the church

And me! It was random! Does it have anything to do with any past Who stories or not?
