well, it's 2005 and classes have resumed and life is pretty routine. i don't mind, though. for the most part, i like the routine. i thought about abandoning this journal since i doubt anyone is really reading, as evident by nary a single comment on my last entry. i surely would think a year-end list post full of links and such would garner a comment or two. oh well, i knew i couldn't delete the journal because someone else beat me to the punch and i'm not a copycat.
new year's in nashville was fun, except for alabama losing to minnesota and me feeling sick for most of new year's eve, causing me to be in bed 15 minutes into 2005. then there was the visit to noshville that was horrendous. it will take nothing short of a miracle for me to ever set foot in that place again, and to think, the food was actually quite good. oh well, i've always got rotier's to patronize. they definitely do good work.
i've been to the rec center each of the past two days and a visit is imminent today. that's good. proper motivation goes a long way. not to mention, it feels like you're excersizing in a palace up there. i'm glad to know my tuition money is actually going toward some nice stuff on campus.
davy, one of my best friends from middle and high school and my roommate during my freshman and sophomore years in tuscaloosa, is getting married tomorrow in huntsville. it's strange because i was standing next to davy the night he met amanda and her twin sister is already married to me and davy's across the hall neighbor in the dorm, who i also lived with during my third year in tuscaloosa. it is all very incestuous, but not in the gross way. either way, i am going to the wedding. thank God i have a date. that is a very comforting feeling.
i have surpassed 20GB on my iPod. there's still plenty of space left, but there's also still plenty of cds in can put on it.
i finished espn: the unauthorized history last week. i'm currently reading eats, shoots and leaves, but it's not as entertaining as i thought/hoped it'd be. fortunately, it's short.
