Drabble; "What You Need"
Title: "What You Need".

Summary: Sometimes you just have to take what you need.

Kitty’s hands were tangled in his hair, her lithe body flush against his, and her rounded mouth was pressing insistent kisses against his jaw line. They had been flirting for weeks, but he never actually thought it would go anywhere. He never thought they would be out here, together, like this. (nothing had ever felt better.)
The little voice in his head (the only part of him left that seemed capable of rational thinking.) was screaming at him to stop - right now - before it went too far (too late, the line's been crossed.) he briefly considered pulling away and just going back inside, to his bedroom, and pretending this had never happened. But he couldn’t, not when it felt so good, not when he was feeling things he had never felt before (not even with Rogue.)
He couldn't hold back anymore, he had to give in. Wrapping his arms around her tighter, he let himself melt into the embrace, kissing her with as much passion as he could muster. And in that single moment he realised that for the first time since Boston, he actually felt like he had a home, a real home. (and she was it.)
