Wolf Out Deh

I enjoyed my unexpected day off today vegging during part of the football game than I got this sort of feeling I must do something to capitolize on my day off. So I went record shopping in Hampden at True Vine. I found some decent disco mixes last time I was there. I didn't find any vinyl there today but did pick up some cd's. Lee Perry "Voodooism" rare roots Black Ark material, a compilation of Joe Gibbs Amalgamated Label 1967-1973, and another compilation called Natty Chase the Barber (it's a rhythm album of Ali Baba). Also walked across the street to check out Atomic Books I don't think I've been there in about a year even though I frequent Hampden frequently. I got some random zine from someone in Baltimore that likes to make lists, Poetry journal, and this other poetry/fiction zine from MA. Spent the day out enjoying the freetime and had enough time to come home enjoy some TV.

Friday I was at the Black Cat to see the Ambitions. Ran into some people I had seen in awhile. Somehow I lost my phone in the club. For some reason I had thought I dropped it walking to the car. Luckily Rudy thought about sending them a text message about calling me when they got it. And someone turned it in to the Black Cat. And someone at the BC called us and told us they had the phone. Worked out perfectly. But I don't think we got home til 3:30am because we kept driving back and forth around the Black Cat. Because I just assumed I had lost it and we wouldn't be able to find it.
