Luck of the Celtic?
More frequent, legitamite posts and ha-ha Bobbo rants coming soon, I swear. I've already explained my extremely hectic busy schedule the past couple weeks. I'm also just extremely unmotivated to do much writing lately, this includes LJ, musical, and fictional. It's just been an off month, I suppose. I'll be back in full swing come June.
In other news, it's the Tim Duncan scandal all over again. The Boston Celtics had the second best chance to nail a top pick in the lottery. Not only did they not get the top pick, but they also failed to nail down the second pick... or the third pick... or even the fourth pick. Fifth. That's where the C's are going to be selecting. Fuck me sideways with a lunchbox! There will undoubtedly be comparisons to the Tim Duncan Shoulda Been a Celtic scenario all over again. You know, I was going to even be content if the C's fell as low as 3 because Joakim Noah would've been more than a welcome commodity. But seeing that Atlanta looks like a good landing spot for him at #3, who the hell is left for the C's? Oden, Durant, and Noah were the ones who could make immediate impacts to a team, I thought. Now the C's will draft yet another project with aspiring potential who will only be just good enough to breed hope before dashing it all and never living up to it. Argh! Red Auerbach is rolling over in his grave.
