I got my very first rejection letter! It’s for my bird-spring poem and it makes me feel like a real writer. Seriously it makes me ridiculously happy to have a rejection letter, I didn’t expect the poem to be accepted to tell you the truth and I was hoping mostly for feedback on what to work on and I got it. The Fiddlehead was very nice about it they sent a handwritten note of rejection with some constructive criticism that I can use to improve my writing along with wishing me luck in my writing. I have it pinned above my desk where I can see it while working to remind myself of what to work on.
