i got over the whole relocation thing, i'm riding my 1996 hyundai to work now so all is good.
another big project in the works, this time with fortune mag, and it has massive potential. MASSIVE. it might change the entire landscape of korean misconceptions and catch the attention of VVVVVIP's. or it could fail miserably and end up firing my boss. no one knows for now.
and through all of this, a veteran journalist and professor at yonsei university asked me to speak at her class on "nation branding." apparently i am super convincing about kpride.
maybe i am extremely giddy because i happen to have a trip booked for LA and NY over chuseok. im dying to kiss my nephews soft cheeks and make him cry just so i can see what it looks like. i actually want to go to overpriced theme parks for him now.
and it's been over 5 years since i've visited NYC. FIVE YEARS!! with friends in it now! this trip has all been made possible by the hubby. an early bday gift for a homesick wife, turning a year older has never felt so good!
