Actual stuck behind bus...
funny... Yesterday I went for a nice ride. I thought it funny when I found myself stuck behind a bus. If you read my last post, you might see the humor in this. So, I kept my distance and after a bit I pulled into a gas station to sit and pass time before returning to my ride. As I turned around to get back onto the highway I saw an old...I mean really old-time car pull out so I passed more time twidling my thumbs. sigh... sooo sllooowww
Why did I pull off the highway...
I pulled off the highway to get away from the big bus for several reasons. 1) riding behind any big vehicle is dangerous for motorcyclists as people in the oncoming lanes can't see you (particularly those wanting to make left hand turns), 2) I did not want to have an asthma attack from breathing in the bus fumes, and 3) buses are big lumbering vehicles.
good ride though... We will experience 60 degree weather this week. yay!!! I'm planning to ride my new new favorite highway route.
