Yeah, I couldn't see Win freaking in my head. Rush Valley seems like a very bohemian kind of small city to me, and Winry strikes me as very mature for her years (which is a good thing given how crazy-talented she is), and the sort of person whose crowd of friends might be mostly four years older. Plus she feels pretty secure of Ed's love for her, and - you know, two pretty boys making out. She's intrigued.

Actually, I think most of my dislike was spawned by the original anime, where Ed was clearly 100% gay, and where Winry's awesomeness was diminished. Reading the manga in depth (I had read the manga before, but stopped when I suddenly did not have a good internet connection anymore, around the same time that Ran Fan lost her arm, I think) has made me grudgingly move Ed's status to bisexual, and has made me like Winry a lot more.

I think the reason I am liking Ed/Winry now is...well, that picture helps. People who tie up Ed and remove his limbs, well, I'm not going to complain about that. Not at all.

Did I ever tell you about the time that my Ed tied up Ling and blindfolded him and such, and then there was Winry's apple pie sex? Well, not sex with the pie, but there was pie involved in the sexing. It was a good time, yes it was.
