The end of the weekend
Well it has been an interesting weekend. It snowed and snowed all Friday and Saturday and put down about a foot of snow around and on the house. Which also included the driveway, which at most times seems a little small but with snow on it seems like a football field. Well Erin (my niece) and I started to clean a path way out for the Mail Truck, because if is not cleaned out they get a little short with you and write mean things and put them in the mailbox. We were shoveling all the snow that the city plows had pushed over blocking both the driveway and the mail box in. We had been working for about a 1/2 hour when a neighbor from up the street came down with a snowplow on his 4X4 truck and plowed the rest of the snow that had been blocking the driveway and mailbox for us. Because of his kind help we were able to get the rest done in short order. The plan was then to clean the big storage area out and maybe make room for a car to be park there, which is a strange idea, because that room was made to have a car parked in there, but it has not had one in for such a long time that I forgot that is what it was for in the first place. Anyway we broke down a lot of cardboard boxes and took them to recycle and made enough space to move stuff over.
We stopped for lunch, late, and when out to get some burgers for everyone and the dumbs**ts forgot to put one the burgers in the bag, which really messed things up. Boy was the wife mad as she gave up her burger and ate leftovers. I went back and yelled at them and got my money back. When I got back the wife and niece had move all the stuff over and I could park the car inside. YEAH!!!!
We then picked up really silly movies and watched them all night and everyone mood improved a great deal.
Well on Sunday, NO SNOW, thank god or gods, whichever, and we just goofed off all day doing little. It was nice. We watched an Action movie and then started to watch another silly movie when the DVD play when goofy on us and it will not read the DVDs at all. Well it looks like I will have to pick up another one as this has gone to DVD heaven. Well the Weekend started out a little bad, the middle was really good, and the end was a little bad; normal for life I guess.
