Alpha Con - Part 3...

Jun 11, 2014 22:48

Where was I? Right, Day 3 - if you wanna call it that way - or rather Saturday. Like I already mentioned: me and the girls got up around 7.30, had breakfast, got ready and then left around 8.30 to pick Fabiola up from her youth hostel.

I probably should mention that by this day I was even sicker, barely had a voice anymore and having to do a Con when you feel like that is no fun itself, but I still was hoping that “today” everything would be better, that the Alpha girls had learned from their mistakes from the previous day and that things would get better now. That things would FINALLY start to come into place and turn out the way they should be.

Well… hope dies last, people say, right? *lol*

We arrived at the “Pyramid” around 9.30 and AGAIN - how else should it have been? - there was a queue waiting in front of closed doors. What else is new?

Besides that, it was FREAKING HOT. Like SERIOUSLY hot. And that at 9.30 in the morning. And that was not a good sign of course. Especially if you know you have to spend the day in a glass pyramid with a broken air conditioning. I expected the worst. And was pretty damn afraid my body would give out at some point. That I would not be able to survive the whole day.

And I knew it would be one hell of a day. Especially since that was the ONLY day all guests were there (which meant 10 guests - if you include Susan Walters, who was only there for autographs), and that means, literally everyone had photo shootings and they also tried to do panels with everyone. TRIED TO ;-)

We were let in around 10, I think, and first thing we did was to ask for pictures. But OF COURSE they weren’t there and no one knew ANYTHING about the pictures from the previous day. It was promised in the Alpha Group before the Con that the pictures would be printed and available within a couple of hours and now even after 24 hours (for some pictures) there was NOTHING and NO one who could tell us anything. The helpers had NO clue and “I don’t know” was the sentence I heard most during this whole convention, I think. And mostly from the helpers.

The first thing on the “plan” for Saturday was the Daniel Sharman Shooting. I don’t know if I mentioned it before, but I had bought 4 pictures with him. And I actually wanted to split them in 2 shootings, but when I was queuing for the Daniel Picture (together with Isabel who had one picture with Daniel too btw.) the “nice” lady there “advised” me (or rather told me to in a pretty much bitchy voice) to take all pictures at once because she can’t promise me if I will get another chance the next day even IF I still have some photo coupons. I told her Daniel would have another shooting the next day, but she was like “If you wanna make sure you get all your pictures, take them all at once, because if you can’t tomorrow, it’s your own fault and your own problem”

Which yeah… freaked me out. Kind of.

So far it NEVER was a problem on ANY convention to split pictures if you had more than 1 or 2. Hell, at the “Bloody Con” last year I had 5 pictures with David Anders and split them into 3 (!!) shootings. With the cheapest ticket. And it was NO problem.

But of course after all the stress this convention had already caused me, I decided that - yeah - it might probably be better to just take the pictures and “get it over with” instead of in the end not having all of my pictures taken at all. But it did make me kind of nervous and it did make me think “OMG, what is Daniel going to think if he realizes I’m going to take 4 pictures with him?” - especially because I was one of the first with my Alpha wristband. Like the days before.

There were people before me with 2 pictures, yes, but when it was my turn and the assistant told the photographer AND Daniel that he would “have to” take 4 pictures with me, he seemed a bit overwhelmed to be honest. And so was I. He was like “OMG, 4 Pictures? Really? Oh my god”. He seemed almost a bit embarrassed, but in a sweet and adorable way.

I had my 4 poses (just like before) printed out and the pictures in my hand and when I showed them to him, I think I kind of “overwhelmed” him with it AGAIN *lol* He’s not used to that stuff, and that was only the 2nd convention ever for him, and so that was all a bit stressful.

Like I said before, I can’t recall what happened next, and my mind is blank when I try to remember what poses we did. I *DO* remember, however, that I did that one pose I planned to do for a long time. It’s the pose of a movie poster, and I had my purple scarf with me for this pose, and put it around Daniel’s neck and then we stood back to back with me kind of “pulling” Daniel a little bit with the scarf. I have NO idea how he looked, or how I looked whatsoever, I just know we did that pose.

And I also remember Daniel trying his best to get the poses I wanted done, because he looked at the pictures and even during one of the pictures he checked back with the photo being all like “am I doing this right?” *lol* Oh boy, that was something he probably would be remembering for a while.

I also told him after we took the 4 pictures that later at the autographs I have a surprise for him (the fanbook) and he was smiling at me so adorably saying “I’m very looking forward to that - see you later” - and then I left and waited for Isabel (who was right behind me) and while she afterwards went into the panel room for the “Teen Wolf Panel” (that was with all the TW guests we had, aka Tyler, Dylan, Daniel, Linden, JR and Ian) I had another “shooting” on the plan - the one with Paul Wesley.

And let me tell you: I’m DAMN GLAD I didn’t have to pay for this one, because he kind of behaved like an “asshole”, even though I know that sounds kind of extreme, but I was really disappointed in him.

But hey, I was obviously the only one he behaved like that towards, so there must be something wrong with me.

I went to “Photo Studio 1” (at this day they had set up 2 different parts of the pyramid for taking photo ops, one only separated from the panel room with a dividing wall [that was studio 2], and the other one was right down the stairs next to the toilets 8 [that was studio 1] - so yay, 2 studios :P), getting in line for Paul’s photos and when it was on me he didn’t even look at me, never said “hello” or ANYTHING. And when he stood next to me I asked “can we do a picture with looking at each other instead of the camera?” and he - again - didn’t even look at me and just replied with “I don’t do poses, so no, we can’t”. I was seriously baffled about his behaviour. It’s not like I wanted anything “completely bad” from him or anything like that, but well… And I can accept if someone does NOT wanna do poses, okay? Don't misunderstand me. I just thought his behaviour was not very nice... :/

(My picture with Paul - I'm not really happy with it and I don't like it, but well...)
I just got next to him, took my photo and left to see the “Teen Wolf Group Panel” - which was next on the plan.

It was seriously unbearable hot at this time already and I was sweating until I was dripping wet and it was not a nice thing to experience, but the panel itself was REALLY, really good. You could see that the whole cast gets along pretty well and that they all like each other, despite what they said *lol*

Someone was asking why Daniel left and the guys said that it was their doing and that they tried to get rid of him for 2 years and FINALLY managed to make him leave, because they all don’t like him. They always prank him and do all the things to show him that they want him gone (they said), and finally it worked *lol*

It was a joke, but the way they said it made me almost feel sorry for Daniel.

The faces they made were extremely cute, though… :)

And it was just another sign that they are a big family and really care for and about each other.

There were a lot of questions and OF COURSE I can’t recall them at all, but it was just nice to see them together and I enjoyed it a lot.

(I took so many pictures during that panel - that's just a few of them :D)
After the “Teen Wolf Panel”, next thing on the “plan” were autographs. AGAIN. And this time it would be with all 10 guests.

They had set up 10 tables in the foyer (yes, it was all VERY professional) and then all of a sudden there was a HUGE crowd of people. LOTS of people of ALL ticket categories. It was a huge mess. And the helpers tried to get the attendees under control, but that turned out to be pretty difficult. They screamed a lot of times that at this time and in this 1 hour ONLY VIP and Alfa Tickets would get their autographs and that Beta and Gamma people should just leave, because there was NO WAY they would get their autographs in this session, but of course a lot of people didn’t (want to) listen and it took them quite a while to “get rid” of those people.

It was also said that it wasn’t allowed to take pictures during the autographs, but AGAIN, OF COURSE there were some idiots (especially that one blond lady standing right next to me and Isabel) that wouldn’t listen. But of course in the end no one did anything about it. It drove me mad, though, because I just hate it when people are this disrespectful and just don’t listen to the rules. And it makes me even madder when the “helpers” are too overstrained to do their job. Well…

The tables started with Paul on the 1st, Michael on the 2nd, Nate on the 3rd, Jamie on the 4th, Dylan on the 5th, Tyler on the 6th, Daniel on the 7th, Ian on the 8th, Linden on the 9th and ended with JR on the 10th table, and well… the VIPs had autographs of everyone, and so when they finally started letting people in (about 30 minutes after the autographs should have started - but what else is new?) in, of course it all started with Paul and took a very long time to get in.

Isabel had a “Meet & Greet” with Tyler at 1.30 and was really nervous that she wouldn’t make it there in time, but I told her “as long as Tyler’s here, he can’t be having the meet & greet” and in the end we both managed to get all the autographs we “needed” that day in time for Isabel to go to her Meet&Greet.

I had autographs of Paul, Daniel, Ian & JR, and also had to get some of Dylan, Tyler and Linden for a Livejournal friend of mine, and so I started with Paul on the first table.

Well, he was in a better mood than back at the photo ops, and seemed quite nice in that very moment, but I’m still not exactly a fan of his I have to admit, and I’m still not okay with the way he treated me. I just was told today that he was pretty pissy because of the heat (Svetlana, one of the organizers told that to me via private message) and that he was complaining all the time and that he was not a “good guest” and did a lot of things that were not okay. I don’t wanna get into it right now, but he didn’t sound very “nice” and “loveable” from what she told me.

(Paul's autograph)
I didn’t really talk to Paul, and my “next target” was Dylan, but THAT ONE took forever, because literally EVERYONE talked to him what felt like for hours. The line in front of him was SO fucking long, and I would have loved just to skip him, and if it wasn’t for Colleen, I would have, but that’s okay… :) I mean, he was extremely sweet.

When I was finally there to get his autograph and had to write down the name for the autograph he looked at me and I looked at him and I explained to him that this autograph is for a friend of mine from the US, who couldn’t make it here and he was pretty nice and wrote a small novel onto it (which he obviously did for everyone, which was obviously one of the reasons it took so long with him), and when he was done he asked me “So where’s your autograph?” and I told him “I don’t need one” and he was like “So you don’t like me?” *lol* Oh boy… I just replied “Sure I like you, I’m just not that much a fan of autographs”… which IS true. If I hadn’t had some included in the package I won, I wouldn’t have taken more than Daniel’s autograph, so there’s that… ;-)

(Dylan's auto for Colleen)
On another note: Isabel had a drawing with her she made of Dylan and she wanted him to sign it, and when she showed it to him he was completely in awe and complimenting her and being really so sweet to her, telling her how talented she is and everything and she totally deserved this, because the picture REALLY, really looked awesome.

Next was Tyler. His line was a bit longer too, but not as long as Dylan’s and so we (aka me and Isabel who was still behind me) were able to get to him quite quickly.

My voice by this time was almost gone completely and so I apologized to him for that in advance and he was pretty cute, saying that I should feel better soon and that he feels sorry for me being sick. And he smiled so sweetly.
Isabel had some gift for him (something she made over twitter and tumblr) and he was pretty much touched, even though I’m sure he didn’t know exactly what it was at that point, but I do hope that by now he could read it. But he was pretty amazed and so sweet about it and thanked her and everything.

(Tyler's autograph for Colleen)
Next came the “difficult” part. Or rather: difficult for ME… the part where I would FINALLY be able to give Daniel the Fanbook I’ve been working on for weeks. It looked really good and I was actually pretty proud that in the end so many people participated and that it turned out to be a success.

Svetlana (the organizer) told me beforehand I had my blessing to ask Daniel for a picture (or short video) because of the fanbook, even though it’s usually not allowed, but when it was finally my turn and I walked over to him, I just couldn’t get myself to do it. Which I regret now, since I’m quite sure it would have worked out. (There was a girl doing a fanbook for Dylan and she got a picture with him and the fanbook, so yeah, I probably should just have asked)

Anyways… before he could sign any autographs I gave him the book saying “That’s the surprise I was talking about before” and then he looked up at me and obviously recognized me, because he said “Oh, it’s you, we did take pictures before” and I said “Yes, we did” and then he asked “Are you alright? You sound hoarse” and I told him that I was actually pretty sick that day and that I’m afraid my voice would die any second, so I probably shouldn’t talk all too much. But I still wanted to explain to him what the fanbook was, and so I told him that people from all over the world sent me messages and that I put those messages together and created this book, and he was SO touched. He went through the book for a bit always saying things like “wow” or “that’s incredible” and such, being a real sweetheart.
He was completely adorable, saying that he’s gonna have to go through it for longer later, but that he admires me for doing all this work just for him, and that this really means a lot to him and yeah. It was just really nice, because he obviously DID appreciate what I did there and really liked the present.

I told him I had 2 autograph coupons and fortunately they had 2 different pictures of him there, and Daniel personalized both of my autographs and they are just awesome and mean so much to me. He thanked me again and told me that he hoped I would feel better soon and then I left to go to the next table.

Just as an explanation: I had 2 Daniel autographs because 1 was included in my Gamma Ticket and the other in my Alfa. I tried to sell it, but no one wanted it, but I mean, that’s okay, because this way I had 2 autographs of him and could spend more time “with him”.

(My 2 Daniel autograph's - he's the absolut best!!!)
Next in line was Ian - and well… that was not planned, but after everything that happened the day before and after him being so incredibly nice to me, I spontaneously bought a 2nd autograph shortly before the autograph session and when I walked over to him he looked up at me saying “Oh, you again” *lol* I am not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. I replied to him that - yes - this is now the 3rd time we met and I also told him that I spontaneously ALSO bought another photo op with him *coughs* That we would take the next day. He also noticed that I was sick and was all like “Oh my god, you’re sick, please don’t breath on me” *lol* Oh well… But his autograph was awesome and even better than my first one and we said good-bye with saying “see you tomorrow” (since he didn’t have a photo session this day anymore, only the next day).

(My 2nd Ian Autograph <3)
Next was Linden and when I wrote down my name on the piece of paper the assistant gave me and reached it to him he looked up at me with a smile saying “Hey Colleen, nice to meet you”… eh… yeah. I cleared it up to him that this is not my name but my friend’s and that I’m getting the autograph for her because she’s a huge fan of his, and she’s from the USA and couldn’t make it over here but that I’m going to send her the autograph.

He was incredibly nice, even though he had to write the autograph 3 times, because first he had written the name only with one L and then with only one E *lol* So the 3rd time it worked out and I could move over to JR.

(Colleen's autograph from Linden :D)
Who was such a darling too. And man, this guy has incredibly beautiful eyes. And so much sex-appeal for a man his age if I might say. And he was extremely nice and sweet as well - just like they all were. I was telling him that I’m very much looking forward to the photo op with him later and when I said good-bye he said “See you later”… So that’s pretty nice as well.

(Last but not least: My JR autograph :D)
Do I have to mention that this “autograph session from hell” took FOREVER and that OF COURSE after that one NOTHING happened “on time” anymore AGAIN? Because instead of starting at 12, they started only at 12.30 and instead of finishing at 1.00 in the end it was almost 2. I mean, COME ON.

And that even with ONLY the VIPs and Alfas being let in - no one else. It was seriously SO unorganized.

I do get that everyone loves to have a chat with his favourite star whatsoever, but they should have done something when seeing that Dylan’s queue got longer and longer and longer and that it took forever to get to him. I mean, they did let a couple of people in if they didn’t have a Dylan autograph, but not that many because true fact: most people DID want one of him. I do think that most of it IS Dylan’s “fault”, because he obviously loves to chat (and also chatted with me for quite a moment) and loves to write novels on the autographs, but still…

That would have never gone like this at other conventions. They would probably have stopped him personalizing the autographs or such, but well… the people that DID get to him definitely were happy afterwards, so that’s okay I guess.

I just don’t wanna imagine how I would have felt if I was a Beta or Gamma Ticket with no chance to get to the autographs for that session at all.

After the autograph session there was supposed to be the “Vampire Diaries Group Panel” - aka the panel with Paul, Michael and Nate, but OF COURSE that couldn’t start on time and in the end instead of 1.00 it started at 2.15 - so AGAIN they were over an hour late.

The Panel was pretty funny, though. I laughed my ass off. The guys - ESPECIALLY Paul - were making all those ambiguous jokes about each other. Like there was this one question for Paul, “Having a One-Night-Stand or getting married - Katherine or Elena - who would he choose for what?” and Paul was like “neither, I would have a One-Night stand with Nate and I would marry Michael” and then Nate commented with “Been there, done that” and Paul said “you couldn’t walk a whole day after the last time”… *lol* They were ALWAYS saying things like that and really making fun of everything.

But I guess that was the best thing they could do, since of course they also complained about the heat and everything and it was obvious that they rather wanted to be somewhere else than having to sit at this stage at about 40°C and answer questions.

There was also this one “question” of a girl who told Paul to explain a whole day in his life while Nate would “act it” the same time and Paul was like “I’m getting up, taking the huge portrait of Ian Somerhalder off my nightstand and kiss it, then going to the shower, jerking off thinking of Ian Somerhalder” and all those things… *rofl*

There was a LOT of talk about Ian and Paul especially mentioned him a lot. I think he kind of missed him… ;-)

Either way… it was a pretty funny panel, despite the unbearable heat, but still, it did NOT feel all too good to be literally glued to your chair and wet from all the sweat… But there was nothing anyone could do, so we had to make the best of it.

(a couple of pics from the "Vampire Diaries" panel - they drank a whole bottle of sangria together during that one *lol*)
After the panel it was “lunch time” - and just like the day before, me and my friend bought sandwiches and waters (that were of course again extremely overpriced) and ate something and afterwards the worst moments of the whole Con started for me.

Because they made me miss two panels - the Paul/Michael one as well as the Linden/JR one. This was the only Linden Panel there was, so yeah, that sucked.

And it was mostly because NO one knew anything. My Ian/Tyler double picture was supposed to take place from 4.00 to 4.15 and afterwards my Tyler single picture, because it was SUPPOSED to be with them starting the double and Ian leaving and Tyler going on with the single pics, but OF COURSE - nope, not happening.

Especially since before that there were supposed to be a whole lot of other combinations taking place, like “Hobrien” (Dylan and Tyler), Stilinski Family (Linden and Dylan) and so on, and NEITHER of those had happened before and no one knew ANYTHING anymore. No one knew what was supposed to be happening when and IF something was even happening. We were sent from studio 1 to 2 and back, and it was a whole time of running back and forth between those studios and the info booth without ANY result.

I was also quite freaked out because at 6.15 the ONLY Linden Shooting for this day was supposed to be happening (because Linden only had 1 photo shooting and because Linden only was there on Saturday) and I was really afraid I was going to miss it because of all the delays…

It was sooooooooo chaotic.

And then I was told that the Tyler/Ian double would be postponed to tomorrow and that I could go line up for JR now since Linden is still doing Doubles with Dylan, and I would have enough time. So I went to studio 1 and waited and all of a sudden someone came calling out “Ian/Tyler Doubles please to studio 2” - ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?

Seriously… that was basically the other end of the pyramid and they said if we won’t hurry and miss it we’re not getting another chance.

So from standing in line for JR I had to run back to the other studio to take my double picture with Ian and Tyler.

I felt like I was going to die on spot when I was there, completely breathless.

They only sold 20 Ian/Tyler Doubles and of course with my Alfa wristband I was one of the first ones to take a picture with them.

I told them what I wanted. I said “I wanna hug Tyler and I want you to look pissed or annoyed or something like that, if that’s okay” and Ian was like “What else is new? They always wanna hug him and not me” and I said “I promise, I make it up to you tomorrow in our single shoot” and he was like “I’m looking forward to it” ;-)

(I actually think that one turned out quite nicely :D)
We took the picture and then I had to sprint back to get my picture with JR done, and of course AGAIN I was completely out of breath when I was finally there, and there weren’t even that many people anymore. ARGH. Really.

I had a certain pose in mind and managed to get the printed picture out and when I walked over to JR he was like “Are you okay? You look exhausted” and I replied with “I had to run here, but I’m good” and he replied “Do you need a moment?” and was extremely caring. I said “No, but I’d like us to do this pose if that’s okay with you?” and showed him the picture and he said “Yeah, sure, of course that’s okay with me.” He placed an arm around my hip, and with the other one grabbed my hand and then we looked at each other and again, OMG, he has pretty eyes…

Believe me, it’s not that easy to look someone in the eye for several seconds, especially when he has pretty eyes like that.

Anyways.

(Me and JR - I like that one too :D)
When I was done and thanked him JR turned to the photographer (without letting go of my hand) saying “Let us see the picture, please, because if it’s not good, we take another one, and if she doesn’t like it, we also take another one” - that was probably the most adorable thing ever and JR completely surprised me that moment, because I never expected him to act like this.

I mean, sure, I knew he was a nice guy and such, but that was more than just being nice and it made me feel like he really cared about everything and really wanted for everyone to have a good picture.

From what I’ve seen I liked the picture and so I thanked him again and told him that I think it looks good and then I said good-bye.

And then I had to run back to studio 2 because OF COURSE right that moment I was told that Linden was doing his photos now in the other studio.

Oh god, really. When I was finally there I thought I’m gonna drop dead any second.

Fortunately there were a few people in front of me, so I could take a breath until it was my turn to take my picture with Linden. I showed him the same photo I had already showed Ian the day before and asked him if we could do this pose and he said “oh, you want the flip?” (didn’t know it was called that way) and so I just said yes and we took the picture.

I actually don’t like it very much and it’s probably the worst of all photos I took during the Con, but well… It’s still a memory, and I was able to look into his eye and he was so nice and it was really great.

(That one looks so completely awful, I don't even know what to say...)
He thanked me afterwards and I thanked him and I said good-bye and went back to he information only to find out that Tyler was FINALLY doing his photos too.

Seriously, this was SO screwed up. This whole plan and this whole day was screwed up like crazy.

So that meant, running back to Studio 1, because of course it was in the other one, and since I still had the photo in my hand I just decided to do the same pose with Tyler too, thinking “whatever”, because I really wasn’t in the mood for asking anything too special anymore.

I do have to say, I really like how that picture turned out in the end. I am surprised it looks like that, because I was REALLY, really exhausted and tired and just wanted to drop dead in some corner. Everything hurt and I was hungry and in a bad mood and yeah…

(I really like my pic with Tyler :) And especially the little moment I had with him. When he held me like that I was a bit shaken up because he looked into my eyes and I said "Please don't drop me" - and he smiled at me and - I kid you not - replied with "Don't worry, I got you, babe!" - He really said that and It almost made me swoon. I mean, OMG... he called me babe. Just like that... *lol* Yeah, I know, I'm crazy, but DAMN, that was... special... :D)
I met my friends in the lobby and FINALLY the first pictures from Friday had arrived (aka the Michael Malarkey, Ian Bohen and Nate Buzolic ones), but instead of just trying to figure out a way to make everyone see what is on the picture they just made a pile and you had to go through them yourself. I mean, SERIOUSLY… it was another chaos they created, because of course everyone was storming towards the table and trying to find his picture.

And when they did, no one was really happy because of the awful quality, and everyone was complaining.

Me included.

Although I “only” complained to my friends (who I finally “found again”), and not to the organization since I’m sure it wouldn’t have changed anything anyways.

We went to McDonalds to get something to eat (which was basically standard since it was the closest “restaurant” and also the cheapest) and since that evening the “Blacklight Party” would take place, well… we also got changed there at the McDonalds toilet… *lol*

We literally stayed there until 9.15, talking and just trying to breath and everything and when we went back to the Pyramid - SURPRISE - it was OPEN already *lol*

This was a first :P

Party Room was the same than the day before, and there also was this “Captain Morgan” guy (dressed as a pirate) taking pictures with all the pretty girls who wanted to. I actually did NOT, but Isabel kind of “made me”… :D

(mine and Isabel's picture with that "Captain Morgan" guy :D)
It happened when we had went outside to take a little breath (because it was soo full and hot and the music was so loud and everything, so we didn’t stay more than 30 minutes inside) and then came back, that he kind of “grabbed us” and talked to us and took a picture with us.

Me and Isabel went back out again after a little while (the others stayed in), sitting down at the stairs. At least until I got a message from Fabiola, being all excited and saying the guys (aka the stars) had showed up, and so me and Isabel went back in, but we better should NOT have… it was HORRIBLE.

There was a little corner “separated” from the party room with 2 tables and that was the so-called VIP area. It was AWFUL.

The stars (Tyler, Dylan, Ian, JR and Jamie) were standing in there and everyone was staring at them like animals in a zoo. There was a huge crowd in front of those tables and everyone was taking pictures even though it HAD BEEN said that it wasn’t allowed. No one cared enough to stop it, though.

One time JR and Daniel “came out” and tried to just get “into the crowd” - obviously really wanting to party with “us” but there was no chance for them doing that, because after a  couple of seconds they were crowded again and could barely move.

Isabel and me were standing somewhere aside just watching from afar, but it was awful. Tyler and Dylan didn’t even come out once (understandable, because Dylan had hurt his leg during the day and didn’t feel all too good, and I wouldn’t have wanted to come out if I was them either), and thanks to the “awesome” behaviour of a lot of fans all of the guys left again after 10 minutes of “partying”. They were trying to dance to the music in their “corner” and such, having a drink but like I said, the people wouldn’t stop crowding them and so it didn’t take them long to leave.

And OF COURSE as soon as they did a whole bunch of people started following them outside.

Thank god they had their bodyguards with them, but that was embarrassing.

I mean, maybe I’m too old for that kind of behaviour, but I can assure you: There were people older than me involved in that whole crowd and it’s just mortifying when grown up people can’t give them space.

They had been working the WHOLE day, writing tons of autographs, shooting tons of pictures, making panels whatsoever, and still people couldn’t get enough. Really, poor guys. I would have left too.

It’s almost funny that as soon as the stars were gone, so were people and the “party” died within 15 minutes, because everyone else left. WTF? Are you kidding me?

It was said beforehand that NO ONE should come to the parties just for the guys, but obviously, most people did, or how else was this to explain?

Kasia decided that night that she wants to stay with her friend Agata (who had a room at the Convention Hotel) and around 0.15, Isabel, Fabiola, Viktoria and me left to get back to my place. We were all tired by that time and not really in the mood for partying anymore either. Besides, we knew we had to get up fairly early again the next day for the “last day of hell”… so yeah…

We dropped Fabiola off at her youth hostel, went home and took a shower (not together, one after another :P) and then went straight to bed.

Unfortunately, my cough had gotten so bad by this time that it was difficult for me to fall asleep. And I was also always scared to keep Viktoria and Isabel awake, but there was nothing I could do about it, and so I just tried to hold it back as long as possible.

On another note and to end that entry: I went into the pyramid that evening with my purple cardigan, but somehow I lost it somewhere in the crowd or something like that. I asked several times this evening and the next day, but no one has found it. Which is kind of strange, since I mean… what is anyone doing with my cardigan?

I talked to Svetlana just today and she told me they hadn’t found it, but that I should write an e-mail to the hotel and maybe someone there has found it.
