I've been watching a ton of tv during this hellscape summer, and I have random opinions about them. YMMV.

Thank you so much for saving me the time! I was considering watching Criminal Minds: Evolution, but after reading your review, I've decided it’s not worth the effort.
Honestly, my interest in the series started to fade when Derek Morgan left. His friendship with Garcia was a major highlight for me. Then, when Aaron Hotchner exited, it felt like the heart of the show left with him. He was a character I genuinely enjoyed, and without him, the series didn’t feel like something I wanted to invest in anymore.
With Reid carrying much of the show’s focus, especially after the storyline with his mother’s kidnapping and his struggle with addiction, it just didn’t work for me. The dynamic that originally made Criminal Minds so compelling was lost, and I haven’t tuned in since. They disrupted the balance that kept me engaged, and after that, I no longer felt connected to the characters or the story.
As for Emily Prentiss, something about her actions in Season Four-I believe it was an interaction with Reid-put her on my list of characters I don’t care for, and that hasn't changed. J.J., for some reason, always rubbed me the wrong way. I can’t quite pinpoint why, but her character just never resonated with me. Luke Alvez didn’t add much for me either. And Adam Rodriguez, well, I wasn’t a fan of his back on Roswell, and my opinion hasn’t shifted since.
