Megalomaniacs, boot-blacked ponies, and a robot dilemma
Another day, another weird dream. This one featured Lex Luthor (thanks, Smallville), my English grandmother, and a lot of wandering, immaculately groomed ponies. Oh, and a small, Italian sports car. *exasperated sigh at my subconscious* Still, it's better than zombies, I suppose.
I wrote 3500 words yesterday and then cleaned the apartment. I cannot focus where there are feral dust bunnies and cobweb condominiums in the corners. Today I have to tackle smut, so I'd better don my nuclear grade ass-kicking boots if I'm going to succeed.
I completely forgot about my commitment to the Robot Big Bang. The story summaries were posted today and I have to sign up for one tomorrow (at an insane hour of the day because the mod isn't local). There are only a dozen fics to choose from and many are things that I cannot sign up for (Japanese manga), or don't want to illustrate (pregnant Transformers fic - wtf?, RPS, pairings I don't understand). Soooooo, there's essentially ONE fic that interests me... why does this keep happening? Perhaps I'm more intolerant than I used to be. Anyway, if this fic gets snagged by someone else, I'm not keen on my remaining options *pouts like a pouty thing*. Tomorrow I have to be up early for a doctor's appointment, so here's hoping that my rusty cyberninja skills serve me well.
