That was the twitchiest 5 days of my life!

I love my blog. I love the mates that I have met through it. And I miss the stories and the art and the gossip. It would be heartbreaking to start up again on some other site after all of these years.

After navigating several screens indicating "this post may not be suitable for minors", I was expecting risque photography or scandalous prose from B... then I realized LJ was only doing that because LJ hadn't actually logged me in properly for some reason. :^(

I'm not a terribly active blogger on either LJ or Fetlife anymore, but it's hard not to notice the increasing fail that is LJ. Their server response is consistently the worst of any of my habitual sites, if the servers respond at all. FL on the other hand is almost always up, it's extremely rare for them to be down and when they are it's for maintenance. May not be a true comparison as FL is more like facebook than a blog site like LJ, but FL is probably run on less $$ and hardware than LJ, it's a tiny CAN operation that just made its 'big' move to Vancouver. At any rate FL is way more reliable than LJ.

I mostly check in on LJ to see how you all are doing, so it wouldn't bother me to switch over if there is a consensus among the TO girl-club at any rate. What about blogspot? It's always up and seems popular and well-established...?
