really? I would've thought that the cabin would've been more unexpected than anything japanese.....

No- what's not romantic about a cabin with a fire place (not the sexiest cabin photo, IMO, but you know, conceptually)? Plus, you can find Japanese textiles beautiful without thinking they are romantic. It's not obviously a romantic item.
