I have a confession to make
*pardon any bad spelling ahead, I'm too exicted to run this through spellcheck*
I like TenpouxKenren better than I like GojyoxHakkai... I like Tenpou better than I like Hakkai... I thought I'd never like a character more than Hakkai! But Tenpou is soo cool! <3 And more hints with TenpouxKenren... =( Their respective deaths in Saiyuki Gaiden were so badass/bittersweet/sad. Tenpou's last thoughts were of Kenren, for one. But we saw his innards! EWW. At the same time, uh, when Gojyo rescues Hakkai... didn't he mention something about "your innards were out?"
I'm really rambling here.
Anyways, I've found my new love. I didn't like Saiyuki as a whole until I discovered the Gaiden arc. I always adored Hakkai, but one character does not make a series for me... and Saiyuki was always sort of pointless. But the Gaiden arc is so cool!!
I think when they say "scatter" (instead of death) they really ment "scatter". Hakkai, I think, only is one part of Tenpou's soul. I almost think Ni might be another part... I mean, c'mon, Hakkai is like "Mr. Clean Up Guy". Ni is more the type to fall asleep in a pile of books. And Gojyo?? I think his brother might be a part of Kenren's soul... he looks more like it, and he has a sweet quality that Gojyo lacks... also, Gojyo sucks in comparison to the WONDERFULLNESS that is Kenren. I still like him, but I have forget that he was once as BA as Kenren.
Kenren! *heart breaks* And Tenpou! *mourns* I shall bring them back to life and have them stored in my cupboard. T^T Oh, why did your AWESOMENESS have to die like that!! You were too young!!
(Heck, even Konzen/SanzoxGoku is better when Sanzo is Konzen. Though I will argue that Sanzo is cool. He's just a bit too much like me for my comfort--the, er, bitter, irritable part that doesn't like people... not the sake-addicted smoker part <3 Really.)
