Oh work. I was upset when I didn't have it, and now that I do, the last thing I want to do is get up and go to it every morning.
The two women for whom I'm doing admin support gave me a box of Ferroro Rocher's and a fancy old-fashioned paper card to welcome me aboard their team. That was awfully nice of them!
Speaking of cards, thanks to theshapeshifter and to crsty1961 whose Christmas greetings arrived Friday and today, respectively.
I just realized that I made a silly spelling mistake in mine. The cat's out of the bag, if you all hadn't realized already. I'm an English major, and actually a fairly good proof reader if it's someone else's work, but in the act of writing something I can't spell to save my life.
One funny anecdote to share:
On the sidewalk sign outside one of my fav used record and book stores as I walked past was written in chalk "Buy someone you hate something by Our Lady Peace this Christmas" and on the other side "Buy someone you love something by the Ramones".
Lol. Not that I think Our Lady Peace is all that bad. The first couple or even three albums are quite good. But they've kind of sold out and are making un-orginal pop rock recently, hence the indie used music store's jibe.
ETA: uh yeah. Just realized I typed "I'm an English majority" above, instead of major. Further prooving my point. Oops.
