Further Arguments for Non proliferation of Nukes
Breaking news today... more scary stuff..... North Korea attacks South Korean Island....
Is this a declaration of war? This is days after a US nuclear scientist reported a stunning site after visiting North Korea's nuclear facilities... Yep... they are far more advanced than expected... And now... to show their might... we have this..... (Do you think Iran's going to be any different??) ... Holy cow... scary stuff, people.... What to do we do now? 어떻게해야 하나요? (eotteohkehae hanayo?) (I don't speak Korean, but I watch the dramas... they use this phrase a lot... and it seemed fitting. )
I hate watching the news... It seems like we are going to hell in a hand basket.... Economic melt downs... nuclear meltdowns.... riots... earthquakes.... epidemics... toxic sludge... crazy dictators and an impotent and bumbling UN.... What stand should the United States take? There's no money to do anything....
Does anyone believe in that 2012 Mayan prophecy stuff??? I didn't think I did, but with all this instability in the world... It seems more and more plausible... I keep hoping it's just some kook theory, but there's always the "what if it's true" factor... Keeping my fingers crossed that it's going to be like Y2K.
UPDATE: 12/9 OK I'm feeling a little silly reading my "slightly flustered"/ running like a chicken with it's head cut off moment. :) Note to self: Don't panic unless it's "really" bad.... Still praying for peace though.
