Mad Men Season 4 x 02 Remarks
Man... This show has taken on such a dark tone, or just maybe for the past 3 seasons I didn't notice it? It was just so depressing last Sunday... I mean it's a pretty serious show, but is it only more so now b/c Don's the one who seems to be in an even darker place?
Christmas/holidays... such a dark time for those who don't have anyone and that person is Don at the moment. He sure sleeps around though or. Man... this show keeps making me wonder about STDs and such and if people had the same worries we do now. It doesn't seem that they do.
That Lucky Strike character who tried to force Salvatore in the dark room last season is back; and unfortunately, he's also the owner of Lucky Strike who knows how big a fish he is in the new company and he's taking everyone through their paces. What an @$$hole!

I'm a bit confused by the conversation Peggy has with Freddie where he basically tells her that if she wants to keep her current boyfriend's respect and the possibility of marriage open, she should (as one of my friend's dad used to tell her) "hold an aspirin between your knees..." But then she goes ahead and sleeps with him?
