I don't know why my neighbourhood squirrels like chilling out whilst sprawled on the fence so much, but they do. I mean, here's a crummier photo of McSquirrellypants taking a full-out power nap as usual a couple weeks ago.

What can I say, I've been fortunate to be out in the yard reasonably often this past week, when Twitchy has apparently been fighting territorial wars with the few other red squirrels in the neighbourhood with loud chatters and chitters and high speed chases.
And then it would so happen that I was trying to take peony photos at the time when Twitchy bursts onto the scene, and we have a moment where he's like owo and I'm like o_o and somehow what little shitty photography instincts I have kick in and I somehow manage to crank the settings to something reasonable and not fail at manual focus for some pictures in the split seconds before he runs?????
*breathes*
Yeah I've just been having god-tier luck getting this close to Twitchy lately. @_@; I haven't posted here or plain ol' taken photos in ages you guys, I NEED TO RECTIFY THIS.
(All my peony photos are kind of utter crap, by the way.)
