Toxic Fat Burning Cleanse - DAY THREE

Jul 12, 2007 01:16

DAY THREEThe hot weather sucks. Soup in the heat sucks. Still fruit and veggies in weather like this aren't bad... I ate so much of it trying to get full I have no idea how this could possibly work. Also I realized just how hard it is to get a PLAIN salad when you are out. They all have cheese or chicken on them. The baked potato last night was ( Read more... )

I am really concerned about this diet. It's not very healthy at all, it doesn't have a complete balance of nutrition. 5 to 7 can be lost in water weight and really depends if you've used the bathroom or not. =\ From what you said, Ian sounded like he was lacking iron in his diet, that makes me disoriented A LOT, I have the women's problems big time so anemia is an issue with me so I know the symptoms well. Oh well, good luck, I hope that it does work out for you. I really do!

I thought Iron too... but apparently there is a ton of it in tomatoes? I dunno... I don't claim to have the answers. All I know is he is fine now, and so am I. He really didn't need it in the first place and was just trying to support me. I told him that he could support me by NOT BEING CRAZY.

ahem.

Anyway, no worries babe. If I feel ill I will stop, I promise.

A lot of green veggies (cabbage for example) have a TON of iron in them. Not to mention plenty of people go without meat and have not starved yet =) (and your soup does have beef broth in it, does it not?). I don't think we'd want you on this forever, but especially if its been recommended to you by a personal trainer, I wouldn't be too worried about it unless you start to feel unwell.
Good job, hon. I'm really proud of you for sticking to this =)

It is not balanced, but a few days won't kill you. All diets make you lose water weight first. Be strong! But continue being careful about your health. I want to see you at Clinton. :-)

4 lbs is very close to 5 lbs. The results could be affected by the heat, or how much salt you've eaten?? More salt would make you hold more water. Also, if you're PMSing that makes you hold an extra 2 lbs or so of water weight. It goes away... when it goes away. You know. Don't stop drinking water because of it though.

*HUGS* You're my hero. I'm so proud of you!

Congratulations on your decision. I myself have started walking to work (40min each way), and have started feeling great because of it.

However

I think that you might be setting too aggressive a goal. 2 lb per week is generally considered a safe weight loss rate. I could send you some web links to peruse on the subject if you are interested.

Well I thought I would add my two cents in here because I spend so damn much time analyzing diet versus exercise and such not ( ... )

And on the eating more than we need thing... did you know that animals that are fed slightly below maintenance level tend to live longer?

Apparently cells spend their time repairing themselves instead of processing new nutrients and dividing all over the place. Essentially, you keep the cells you have longer.

So people, eat your meals and stop BEFORE you feel full.

On the protein it is 2 to 3 ounces per meal lol.

Anyways I have lost close to 100 pounds and I have PCOD/PCOS.

I am actually going back to school to get a degree in nutrition.

It is kind of an obsession with me.

Unhealthy diets are ones that have you eat only 1 thing for a long period of time, like tuna for every meal for two weeks, or grapefruit, or tomatoes...I have seen some pretty weird diet ideas.
