Kim Jong-Skillz has escalated the longtime East Coast/West Coast rap rivalry to a new level: Eastern World/Western World. With the release of his newest album, Half-Kocked. Skillz is joined by his newly formed "Nuclear Posse" on what is perhaps his most outwardly intimidating album ever. Not one to back down from a fight, tracks like "Respect Me, Kofi" directly address the UN head, telling him to "feel the tremors / all you U.N. members / you won't have no power / in the N.K.'s finest hour." Other songs discuss Skillz's thoughts on poverty, hunger, and human rights. The soon to be hit, "Dark at Night," gives insight into Skillz's thoughts on the pursuit of nuclear weaponry before nuclear power with hard hitting lyrics like, "Eight o'clock comes and we shut down the grid / the people don't like it but they'll be glad we did / they complain that they got no power for their homes / but who needs the electric when you droppin' da bombs?" Due for release next Tuesday, Half-Kocked is sure to please.
