YAAAAAAAAY!
today was my u/s appt with the high risk peri up here. i am 23 weeks and 4 days. they said the baby, definitely a boyyyy!, is growing fine, there is NO sign of blood, my membranes are no longer separated, and my placenta has moved up enough so i will not need a c section! i could not have hoped for better news!!!!
i do not know yet if i am off pelvic rest, but i think my dr will keep me on it. i am still at higher risk for preterm labor because of the pressure my clot put on the amniotic sac. they dont want my water to break early, or contractions to start. so i'll probably be on pelvic rest for the rest of my pregnancy.
BUT I FINALLY FEEL EXCITED!!!!! i am having a baby!!!!! i am 3 days from viability, and getting safer every day! after all the bad news and scary visits, and the HORRIBLE wait and see period, this is more than i hoped for today. i cannot wait to meet my son in a few months, and feel so lucky to have made it through this.
