2 week bender.
School starts Tuesday. I'm taking Clinical Medicine 1, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Communications, Intro to Psych, and Physical Assessment. Yesterday I got all my stuff together and wrote out my schedule to try to prepare myself for going back. I have pretty much been drinking or drunk every single day for the past 2 weeks, and to be quite honest, I am ready for a dry spell.
I didn't get done everything I wanted to. I didn't go see Kendrah and her new baby, I didn't make anything with beads, I did get my tags renewed so that's good. I probably could have been more productive but what the hell. That's what a vacation is for.
Friday Chris and I went to Betty's to see some "music." I use the term loosely because it had no discernible melody, rhythm, or lyrics. I tried to keep an open mind, but neither Chris nor I liked it.
Saturday we went to the SAUSAGE FESTIVAL at the Nashville Dog. We paid $10 and got all the brats we wanted, wrestling, music, and a hot dog eating contest. We drank a million beers and then I got bored. We went to Sam's and ran up an enormous bar tab we can't afford, and then I dumped ice water all over myself. Gazelle-like one might say.
Today I have voted to stay in bed and watch movies and get sexy all day. Chris went out for movies, pizza, and gatorade.
We've been together 4 years today.
