(no subject)
I am one day and one final away from being done with my senior year in college. it is amazing that it has gone so quickly. even though this is my last year, i still have to take one extra semester (for one class :( ), so i will be a super senior, but that is alright. it gives me 4 extra months to figure out what i am going to do with my life.
as for summer, i am coming home on the 11th to no job. i have been writing advertising agencies in Boise since March, and have yet to receive an internship. what is the deal? i think i am pretty confident in my interviews, or emails, and my resume is a good starting resume, but no one is interested. hopefully someone will hire me, or i will end up looking for another summer job. the lack of availability for internships worries me about the prospect of jobs when i graduate. i hope it isn't as hard to find a career as it is an internship. who am i kidding, i am sure it's harder.
this summer i will be on a co-ed slow pitch softball team that my cousin is on. i swore to myself that i would never play slow pitch. i guess things change. i am nervous about my abilities. not playing in 4 years makes me a little rusty. i just hope that i don't get hurt. playing with men is a little scary. it will be fun, and i hope that i make friends from it.
next semester i will be living with two roommates! i am pretty excited about it. Katie Zigars, and Chris Tilman (big chris, as we affectionately call him) will be fun to live with. there should be some interesting times that go on, and i look forward to them.
i feel like i have been more productive in the last few days than i have been all semester. i guess moving out and finals will do that to you. it will be nice to be home and rest for a few days, before finding a job.
