I repeat my sentiments from earlier. Holy Martha, Mother of Castle, this is just spectacular. The "anytime versus always" is ♥.

Are we having a flail-off right now? ;)

I think we are having a flail-off, and I love it!

And "Holy Martha, Mother of Castle" is my new favorite expression ;)

Thanks again for your lovely comments that made me smile like crazy! ♥

Oh, beautifully done. The subtlety of 'if' to 'when' and 'anytime' to always. Great idea, beautifully executed.

Still gorgeous. Still perfect.

I'm glad you decided to go ahead and post it. This is another wonderful drabble that definitely deserves to be read and cherished by everyone in the fandom. :)

If, when, anytime, always ... inevitability. I love your choice of words. ♥

Thank you so much, my dear! ♥ I so appreciate both your lovely comments and your encouragement to be brave. *hugs*

I think I've used "inevitable" in Castle/Beckett writing before, but it really is the word that best describes them to me. And I so absolutely love watching as the characters come to the same conclusion.

Yes, inevitable is definitely the best word to describe this pair. I can't think of anything better. :)
