His parents die in a helicopter accident in Colorado, and he inherits the house and goes to visit. It is creepy, and he tells his wife the sordid family history after she mentions his sister coming to visit.

He drags out an old magic lantern and a phantasmagoria, which horrifies her and appears to summon a supernatural experience.

Not longer after he opens up his sealed shut old bedroom, and his sister and supposedly dead father are there for a good old-fashioned devil summoning black-robed get-together. Unfortunately the pair may be part of the method.
