The headline came up in my RSS feed as Galley: Will Smith, the new 'idol' judge.
So... Will Smith is a judge on American Idol?
CNN has already changed it, which they often do after the initial posting.

The article doesn't say whether or not their rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is their own, but I have a feeling it's not.
I believe it's called "The 12.5 Days of Christmas", and I've heard several different A Capella groups sing it, besides them.

Remarkable Timing
I was just thinking that it's remarkable how often you find that someone will pass away shortly after "completing" some significant task.
In 1991, Gene Roddenberry passed away, shortly after viewing Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. (I won't bother to explain the significance of this movie for non-Trekkers)

Power Outage
Last night when we got home from an evening out, all of the houses on our side of the street were dark.
Just when we thought we had put those days behind us, we have another power failure. Fortunately, we've become rather well-prepared for these, and have developed something of a routine.
