We don't need no education...
I had my third and final interview at Walmart today. They had pretty much decided to hire me before I got there. It was pretty much me accepting the position offered and setting up my background check and drug test. I'll get that done tomorrow and then I'll have to have my orientation set up.
I'm actually a bit excited about this. I never thought working for retail again would give me such a feeling. But my income has been sorely lacking lately and it'll be a nice supplement. I'm also hoping for some benefits. For a few months have been without health insurance and getting that back would be great.
But my production job has been picking up. This weekend we showcased a video of ours at the opening of a new fancy restaurant here in Rockford. It generated both laughs and cries exactly as I had hoped. As I was leaving the owner told me it was one of the best videos he had ever seen and that he is going to tell everyone he could what an awesome job we did. Hopefully this will bring more business our way. Sadly I can't post it online for all to see since we only had music rights for live performances in the restaurant. However if the restaurant decides to pay the fees associated, I will instantly put a link for others to see it. I consider it one of my best works.
