To boldly go...

I was interviewed at the theater when going to see Star Trek. You can see my interview further in the video. I enjoyed the movie a lot. There were plenty of nods toward previous series and movies but it didn't let the chronology bog itself down. I thought Christopher Pine did a fine job as Kirk. There were enough subtleties that he could grow into Shatner without it being somewhat of a parody. I was happy with the Sulu action but a little disappointed with the lack of Scottie screen time. But I definitely want to see it again. I'll wait a few weeks and then I'll be able to see it for $5.00 here at the local theater since I'm a member of the 'Five Buck Club'. I haven't used it yet so this will be a first.

I interviewed with The Machine on Wednesday. Then I remained for a second interview. Since then they have called by current boss as a reference and I'm waiting for a third interview. All this for evening grunt work for extra cash.
