Words Fail Me
And not just because I'm all wheezy and scratchy-throated with the flu, either. After a few days off to wallow in sickness, I came back to the mind-boggling news that I'd been nominated for the SS/HG Awards and offered a shiny to mark the occasion. So here it is!
"Five Ways to Woo a Witch" is nominated as Best Drabble, "What to Expect When Your Husband's Expecting" is up for Best Drabble Series, "The French Connection" is nominated as Best Romance and Best Mid-Length and--most unbelievable to me--I've been nominated for Best Author. O.o
Thank you to all of you who nominated, and thank you as well to all those who put in the time and effort to make these awards possible. It's a cliche to say that it's an honor to be nominated... but it is an honor, damn it, and I'm very grateful and proud to be among the other, worthier nominees. :D
In other news, as I said above, I've been down with the flu since late Thanksgiving evening, so I haven't had much energy for anything. However, I mustered just enough to change my layout and default icon for Winter, so enjoy!
