Well, here's a thing - you like France, I live here; you tidy compulsively, I have a house desperately in need of tidying. So....

(Although you'd probably just fall into a dead faint at the sight.)

Smells: horse, my cat when he's been lying in the sunshine, onions frying in butter, roses, the sea, thyme, really good coffee.

Hah! You know, that sounds like a pretty fair trade. I can cope with untidiness, if I know I'll get to tidy it soon. ;-) One of these days, I'll make it to Provence and visit you.

Lovely smells! I'd forgotten about how wonderful cats smell when they've been lazing in the sun. Sauteed onions in butter is always a wonderful smell to me, because you just know good food is going to follow from that.
