Feb 24, 2010 17:59

The bad news is that I'm definitely sick; there's no mistaking that. I'm sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, exhausted, and generally sounding like a prime candidate for NyQuil. (Didn't get much sleep last night.) As is usual with my colds, I woke up with the voice of some down-and-out jazz singer, sounding like I subsist on a diet of ( Read more... )

*HUGS* Congrats!
Hope you get feeling better soon! I'm still sniffling and got sinus drainage as well. Still no snow yet. We might get some flurries. The northern counties is getting up to 3 inches, but not us.

Thank you! ~hugs~ It was a definite surprise, but a very good one. :-)

I'm sorry you're still feeling unwell. I had a rough night, but I woke up feeling MUCH improved, and although I still sound terrible, I can feel major improvement. That makes me very happy.

And we keep getting snow. Only a few inches at a time, off and on, but it does accumulate, you know? At this rate, the ground will be white into April.

Thank you very much! And I'm so happy to find somebody else who loves that movie as much as I do--great cast, great script, great direction. I get something new out of it every time I watch. :D

(I am LMAO at your icon, by the way!)

Thank you very much, my dear! ~hugs~ Last night was very rough, but I woke up feeling much improved, and it's clear that I'm recovering. I have energy for the first time this week, but I am trying to remember not to blow it all at once. ;-)

I'm so glad you enjoyed that clip! It's one of my very favorite movies, and it has special resonance, I think, for those of us who write or work with art. It asks so many questions about the stories we tell, how we tell them, what they reflect of real life and humanity... oh, I could go on and on. :D

~waves~ Hello, and congratulations on de-lurking! I hope you're enjoying it thus far.

Thank you on all counts! I'm delighted that you enjoyed the clip. It's obviously one of my favorite scenes from the film, too, but now I am curious as to which one is your other favorite. *g*

Ah, I do love that scene! Hoffman makes such a wonderful eccentric academic. He reminds me of a colleague, actually. *g* I love the bit about "Little did he know."

~hugs you and cuddles with Snape~

Thank you! Aren't they lovely banners? I'm proud to show them off. :D

Last night was bad, but I'm feeling considerable improvement today--trying not to push it, though, because that's how relapses happen, right?

~adores you~

P.S. Expect an e-mail from me this evening.
