Giving Thanks
The wine is poured, the turkey is resting and awaiting carving, the last of the side dishes are finishing up in the oven, the Lions were humiliated on national television... yes, everything is as it should be. Somehow, I even managed to squeeze in some time to dress and put on some makeup.
The minions were compliant. The house smells great. We're all having, in defiance of holiday cliches, a really good time. (Yes, even the cats.) I hope that all of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving today have as wonderful a time and that those of you who aren't celebrating have particularly wonderful Thursdays.
